Description
Sony Ericsson Zylo W20I Black 3G 3.2-megapixel, New, GSM unlocked
This lot is the Sony Ericsson Zylo W20i in Black, the 3G Walkman slider with a 3.2-megapixel camera, brand new in the original Sony Ericsson retail box, GSM unlocked. Black is the volume finish for exporters placing a Walkman phone in live-GSM markets, and collector shops take boxed black units as the reference example of the model.
The Sony Ericsson Zylo W20i is a 2010 slider from the Walkman line and the first Sony Ericsson handset to play FLAC lossless audio. It has a 2.6-inch QVGA display, a 3.2 MP camera, a Walkman player with TrackID recognition, a stereo FM radio, stereo Bluetooth, 260 MB of internal memory with a microSD slot, Google Maps, and Exchange ActiveSync push email. The radio is quad-band GSM with UMTS/HSPA 3G on 900/2100 MHz, so it has no LTE and no US 3G bands.
TG Wireless supplies the Zylo to collector shops, prop houses, and exporters serving markets where GSM or 900/2100 UMTS is still live. It is not a US activation phone.

Condition: New
Brand new units in the original box with the original in-box accessories as listed. Nothing has been activated or reconditioned. If your channel needs sealed retail packaging rather than open-box new, say so when you request a quote so the account manager can confirm how the lot is packed. The listing states the original battery, battery door, charger, stereo headset, user guide, and Sony Ericsson retail box are included.
Network and compatibility
The Zylo W20i is a 2G GSM and 3G UMTS phone with no LTE, and its 3G runs on the 900/2100 MHz bands, which US carriers never used. US carriers retired 3G in 2022, T-Mobile closed its 2G GSM network on August 3, 2026, and a phone without LTE and VoLTE gets no US service today. Lock state is per listing; see the network status line in the table. Realistic uses are export where GSM or UMTS 900/2100 is still live, collector and prop sales, and offline music use.
Resale fit
- Export to markets where 2G GSM or 3G UMTS 900/2100 is still live and a Walkman slider sells as a low-cost music phone.
- Collector and retro-phone shops stocking Sony Ericsson Walkman models, where the FLAC-capable Zylo has a following.
- Film, TV, and theater prop houses that need period-correct working sliders from around 2010.
- Offline Walkman player and display use for retailers and trainers.
