Description
Sony Ericsson T715 3G, Factory Refurbished, GSM unlocked
Factory refurbished rather than new, this Sony Ericsson T715 3G unit carries a SKU that identifies the silver finish and the refurbished grade. Lock state is per the table. It fits buyers who want the T715 at a lower entry than the new units: prop houses, parts and display buyers, and exporters who accept reconditioned 3G sliders.
The Sony Ericsson T715 is a 2009 compact metal-finish slider with 3G UMTS data, a 2.2-inch screen, a 3.2 MP camera with photo light, and a keypad sized larger than the phone's footprint suggests. It was marketed on messaging and organizer features: threaded conversations, calendar reminders, Google Maps, and weather, in a body roughly the size of a credit card.
Because its data side is 3G and 2G only, TG Wireless sells the T715 to exporters serving markets with live UMTS or GSM service, to collector and retro-phone dealers who want a late Sony Ericsson slider in pink or silver, and to prop and parts buyers.

Condition: Factory Refurbished
Factory refurbished units have been reconditioned to close-to-new working order. They are not brand new and may show light signs of handling. TG tests and grades each unit before it ships. Tell your account manager whether you need units with the original box and accessories or handset-only packs; the mix varies by lot.
Network and compatibility
The T715 is a 3G/2G phone with no LTE or VoLTE. All US carriers retired UMTS 3G in 2022 and T-Mobile ended 2G GSM service on August 3, 2026, so the T715 does not get US service today regardless of lock state. See the network status line in the table for the unit's lock state. Its market is export to regions where UMTS or GSM networks remain live, plus collectors, props, and offline camera or organizer use.
Resale fit
- Export dealers serving markets where 3G UMTS or 2G GSM service is still active.
- Collector and retro-phone shops that want compact Sony Ericsson sliders in original colors.
