Description
Sony Ericsson S500I Yellow Walkman, Factory Refurbished, GSM unlocked
Here the Sony Ericsson S500I Walkman comes in yellow, a factory refurbished, GSM unlocked quad-band slider. The bright finish is the collector's pick among the three S500i colors TG carries, and prop and set-dressing buyers use it where a 2007-era phone needs to be visible on camera.
The Sony Ericsson S500i is a 2007 quad-band GSM slider from the brand's design-led S series, sold here with Walkman branding in its listing names. It is a 14 mm thin feature phone with a 2-inch 240 x 320 display, a 2 MP camera, an MP3 and AAC player, Memory Stick Micro (M2) expansion, stereo Bluetooth 2.0, and the illuminated keypad and changing display themes the model was known for.
It has no 3G or LTE, so TG Wireless sells it to exporters serving markets with live GSM service, to collector and retro-phone shops that want a known Sony Ericsson model in a factory refurbished state, and to prop houses and parts buyers.

Condition: Factory Refurbished
Factory refurbished units have been reconditioned to close-to-new working order. They are not brand new and may show light signs of handling. TG tests and grades each unit before it ships. Tell your account manager whether you need units with the original box and accessories or handset-only packs; the mix varies by lot.
Network and compatibility
The S500i is a 2G-only GSM phone with GPRS and EDGE data; it has no UMTS, LTE, or VoLTE. US carriers retired 3G in 2022 and T-Mobile shut its 2G GSM network on August 3, 2026, so this model gets no US cellular service today. Lock state is per listing; see the network status line in the table. Realistic uses are export to countries where GSM 900/1800 or 850/1900 service remains live, collectors, film and TV props, and offline music or display use.
Resale fit
- Export to markets where 2G GSM voice and EDGE data are still live.
- Collector and retro-phone shops that want original-color Sony Ericsson sliders in refurbished condition.
- Film, TV, and photo prop rental houses that need period-correct 2007 handsets.
- Parts and display units for repair shops and museum-style retail displays.
