Silver Motorola W490 / W510 flip phones, GSM unlocked, A Grade. Silver is the finish closest to the RAZR look the phone was styled after, which makes it the easiest W490 color to sell on a retro storefront and the one exporters usually ask for after black.
Motorola sold one slim clamshell under two numbers: the W490 for T-Mobile and the W510 for other carriers. Both share the same 2007 feature set, a 1.9-inch 262K-color display, a 1.3 MP camera with video, Bluetooth with stereo audio, a microSD slot, and quad-band GSM with EDGE data. There is no 3G or LTE radio, which puts the phone outside US activation today and into export, prop, and collector channels.

Network and compatibility
Every W490 / W510 is a quad-band 2G GSM phone with GPRS and EDGE data only. US 3G shut down in 2022 and T-Mobile closed its 2G GSM network on August 3, 2026, so there is no US carrier that will give this handset service; see the network status line in the table for how this listing is locked. Where GSM 850/900/1800/1900 voice is still on air outside the US, an unlocked unit registers with a standard SIM. Otherwise the uses are collectors, props, and parts.
