Description
Motorola Razr V3 Red, Factory Refurbished, lock status not stated
TG lists this Motorola Razr V3 as a Red unit, Factory Refurbished. Red is a popular finish with prop departments and collectors, and a reconditioned example gives them a working flip with a tested hinge at a refurbished price. Lock status is not stated in the listing; confirm it with your account manager.
The Motorola RAZR V3 is the 2004 clamshell that defined the thin-phone era: a 13.9 mm anodized aluminum body, a chemically etched nickel-plated keypad with electroluminescent backlighting, a 2.2-inch 176 x 220 internal display with a 96 x 80 external display, a VGA camera with 4x digital zoom, Class 1 Bluetooth, MPEG-4 playback, and Java MIDP 2.0. It is a quad-band 2G GSM phone with GPRS Class 10 data and no 3G, weighing 95 g.
TG Wireless sells the V3 in nine finishes across new, refurbished, graded, and carrier-return lots to collector shops, prop and display houses, parts dealers, and exporters serving markets where 2G GSM is still live.

Condition: Factory Refurbished
Factory refurbished units have been reconditioned to close-to-new working order. They are not brand new and may show light signs of handling. TG tests and grades each unit before it ships. Tell your account manager whether you need units with the original box and accessories or handset-only packs; the mix varies by lot.
Network and compatibility
The RAZR V3 is a 2G GSM phone with GPRS data and no 3G or LTE radio. All three US national carriers retired 3G in 2022 and T-Mobile shut down its 2G GSM network on August 3, 2026, so the V3 will not get voice or data service on any US carrier today. Lock state is per listing; see the network status line in the table. Realistic uses are export to markets where 2G GSM is still live, collector and enthusiast sales, film and TV props, display fixtures, and parts for hinge and flex repairs.
Resale fit
- Collector and enthusiast shops that trade in the RAZR line and its limited color runs.
- Film, TV, and theater prop departments that need the most recognizable mid-2000s phone in a specific color.
- Export to Africa, South Asia, and Latin America, where 2G GSM voice service remains live.
- Parts dealers and repair shops stocking hinges, flex cables, shells, and keypads for V3 restorations.
