The Motorola ACTV W450 is a 2008 T-Mobile rugged feature phone aimed at outdoor users. It has a rubberized coating against the elements, a chin bar at the base for clipping to a belt or pack, a 1.3 MP camera with 8x digital zoom, a built-in MP3 player with a 2.5 mm headset jack, Bluetooth, CrystalTalk call clarity, voice-activated dialing, a microSD slot up to 2 GB, and preloaded Mayo Clinic In Touch first aid software.
Dealers buy the ACTV from TG Wireless as a graded rugged flip for collector shops, prop houses, and export to markets where 2G GSM service is still live; it has no 3G or LTE and no place on US networks today.

Condition: Factory Refurbished
Factory refurbished units have been reconditioned to close-to-new working order. They are not brand new and may show light signs of handling. TG tests and grades each unit before it ships. Tell your account manager whether you need units with the original box and accessories or handset-only packs; the mix varies by lot. Factory Refurbished lot ships with original battery, battery door, charger, user guide, and Motorola box per the source listing.
Network and compatibility
The ACTV W450 is a 2G GSM phone with no 3G or LTE. AT&T retired its 2G network in 2017 and T-Mobile shut down 2G GSM on August 3, 2026, so the phone has no voice or data service on any US carrier. Lock state is per listing; see the network status line in the table. Realistic uses are export to markets where 2G GSM service is still live, collector and retro-phone shops that stock rugged flips, film and TV props, and parts.
Resale fit
- Collector and retro-phone shops stocking rugged late-2000s Motorola flips.
- Film, TV, and photo prop buyers who need a bright, period-correct outdoor phone.
- Export to markets where 2G GSM service is still live and a tough basic phone sells.
- Parts dealers sourcing housings and hinges for the W450.
