Description
BLU Vivo 5 Mini V050Q Black 4G, New, GSM unlocked
This is the BLU Vivo 5 Mini V050Q in Black, brand new, listed as a 4G Unlocked unit, which in practice means GSM and HSPA+ with no SIM lock. Black is the color export buyers order deepest when filling a mixed lot for 3G markets, and it is the usual choice for Wi-Fi-only deployments where the handset is a tool rather than a fashion item.
The BLU Vivo 5 Mini V050Q is a 2016 compact Android phone built around a 4.0-inch 480 x 800 display and an aluminum unibody frame, a form factor that had nearly disappeared from the market by the time it launched. It runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow on a MediaTek MT6580 quad-core processor at 1.3 GHz, with a 5-megapixel rear camera with flash and a 3.2-megapixel front camera. Despite the '4G' in its name, the chipset is an HSPA+ design with no LTE.
Exporters buy the Vivo 5 Mini from TG Wireless for markets where 3G UMTS service is still running and small, metal-bodied phones sell well, and buyers of Wi-Fi-only devices take it as a pocketable Android unit for media, messaging, and testing.

Condition: New
Brand new units in the original box with the original in-box accessories as listed. Nothing has been activated or reconditioned. If your channel needs sealed retail packaging rather than open-box new, say so when you request a quote so the account manager can confirm how the lot is packed.
Network and compatibility
The Vivo 5 Mini carries a '4G' label in its name, but its MediaTek MT6580 chipset supports GSM and HSPA+ only; there is no LTE radio and no VoLTE. Lock state is per listing; see the network status line in the table. US carriers retired 3G in 2022 and T-Mobile ended 2G GSM service on August 3, 2026, so this phone will not get service on any US network today. It still works on GSM and UMTS networks abroad, and on Wi-Fi anywhere.
Resale fit
- Export to markets in Latin America, Africa, the Middle East, and South Asia where 3G UMTS service is still live and a compact metal Android phone has retail appeal.
- Wi-Fi only uses: inventory scanners, kids' media devices, app testing benches, and point-of-sale companions that never need a SIM.
- Collector and display stock for a late example of the 4-inch Android form factor.
