Description
BLU Dash JR 4.0 D142X Blue Dual-SIM, New, GSM unlocked
Blue is the color here: the BLU Dash JR 4.0 D142X Blue Dual-sim, brand new and GSM unlocked, a 4.0-inch Android Gingerbread phone with a 1 GHz processor and 2 MP camera. Color variety is the selling point of this model, and blue pairs with the pink and yellow units for retailers building a wall display or a mixed export carton.
The BLU Dash JR 4.0, model D142x, is BLU's 2013 entry-level Android: a 4.0-inch touchscreen, a 1 GHz processor, a 2 MP camera, dual-SIM slots and Android 2.3 Gingerbread, sold in six colors at the lowest price point in the Dash line. It is a 2G GSM handset with no LTE and, per its listing, no 3G, aimed at first-time smartphone buyers in price-driven markets.
Exporters and discount retailers buy the Dash JR 4.0 from TG Wireless as boxed, new color-sorted stock for markets where 2G GSM service is still live, and as a Wi-Fi only Android for kids, kiosks and basic media use.

Network and compatibility
The Dash JR 4.0 D142x is a dual-SIM 2G GSM phone with no LTE and no 3G stated in its listing. US carriers retired 3G in 2022, T-Mobile closed its 2G GSM network on August 3, 2026, and a phone without LTE and VoLTE gets no service on a US carrier today. Lock state is per listing; see the network status line in the table. Realistic uses are export to countries where 2G GSM service is still live, Wi-Fi only use, and display or parts stock.
Resale fit
- Export to markets where 2G GSM service is still live and a sealed, branded Android sells at a very low ticket.
- Discount and novelty retailers stocking a six-color wall of small Android phones.
- Wi-Fi only use: kids' first phones, kiosks and basic media players.
- Parts and display stock for shops servicing BLU handsets.
