Description
BLU Dash 5.5 D470A Blue 4G, New, GSM unlocked
The BLU Dash 5.5 D470A in Blue is a new, boxed Android with a 5.5-inch screen and a 5 MP camera, GSM Unlocked, with 3G HSPA+ data that BLU labeled 4G. Blue is the color exporters add after black to give a counter a second option at the same spec. Each unit ships with the original battery, charger, data cable, stereo headset, and user guide as listed.
The BLU Dash 5.5, model D470a, is the large-screen member of BLU's 2014 Dash budget line: a 5.5-inch touchscreen Android with a 5 MP rear camera and a front camera, sold in a spread of colors that included blue, grey, orange, pink, white, and yellow. Its data radio is 3G HSPA+, which BLU marketed as 4G; the phone has no LTE. The listing supplies little beyond that, so the spec table stays short.
TG Wireless sells the Dash 5.5 new and boxed to exporters who serve Latin America and other regions with live 3G service, where a 5.5-inch Android at the lowest price tier still has buyers, and to dealers who need cheap handsets for Wi-Fi, demo, or display use.

Network and compatibility
The BLU Dash 5.5 D470a is a 2G GSM and 3G HSPA+ phone; the 4G in its name is BLU's HSPA+ label, and it has no LTE or VoLTE. US carriers retired 3G in 2022 and T-Mobile closed its 2G GSM network on August 3, 2026, so the Dash 5.5 cannot get service on any US carrier even though it is GSM unlocked; see the network status line in the table. It still registers on live 3G networks abroad, and Wi-Fi works anywhere.
Resale fit
- Export to Latin America, the Caribbean, and Africa, where HSPA+ service is live and a 5.5-inch Android at a bottom-tier price still sells.
- Dealers supplying Wi-Fi-only Androids for kiosks, children, and basic media use.
- Display and prop use where a large-screen Android handset is needed without carrier service.
