Description
Apple iPhone 5c 16 GB Green Verizon 4G LTE, Factory Refurbished, GSM unlocked
Green is the color that defines the iPhone 5c for collectors, and this factory refurbished 16 GB unit (listed as 16b) is the Verizon 4G LTE model with GSM unlocked. Retro-Apple marketplace sellers take green 16 GB units for display and collection, and exporters place them where UMTS voice still runs.
Apple introduced the iPhone 5c in 2013 as the color-shelled companion to the 5s, reusing the iPhone 5 internals: the A6 chip, a 4-inch 1136 x 640 Retina display, an 8 MP iSight camera with 1080p video, a FaceTime HD front camera, and LTE data. It shipped on iOS 7 and stopped at iOS 10. The 16 GB tier was the launch base model, and green was one of its five launch colors. The Verizon version carries CDMA, LTE, and an unlocked GSM radio.
TG Wireless offers it factory refurbished to exporters, collectors who want the original colors, and buyers who need inexpensive Wi-Fi iOS hardware.

Condition: Factory Refurbished
Factory refurbished units have been reconditioned to close-to-new working order. They are not brand new and may show light signs of handling. TG tests and grades each unit before it ships. Tell your account manager whether you need units with the original box and accessories or handset-only packs; the mix varies by lot.
Network and compatibility
The iPhone 5c has 4G LTE, but it lacks VoLTE, so it cannot carry voice calls on today's US networks: Verizon retired CDMA voice on December 31, 2022, and the GSM carriers retired 3G the same year. US carriers no longer activate it. Lock state is per listing; see the network status line in the table. The Verizon version ships GSM unlocked, which makes it an export phone for markets where UMTS voice is still live alongside LTE data, and a Wi-Fi device otherwise.
